Your profile and password

Open your profile from the profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar.

Change your name or email

1. Edit Name or Email address.
2. Choose Save. You'll see "Profile updated."

If you change your email address, we mark it as unverified and email a new confirmation link to the new address. Until you click it you can only use your profile page, so confirm it straight away. Your profile shows "Your email address is unverified." until you do. If the email doesn't arrive, go to the verification page and choose Resend verification email.

Change your password

1. Under Update password, enter your Current password.
2. Enter a New password and confirm it.
3. Choose Save. You'll see "Password updated."

If your current password is wrong, or the two new passwords don't match, you'll be told what to fix and nothing changes. Choose a long password that's hard to guess, and don't reuse it elsewhere.

Forgot your password?

1. On the log in page choose Forgot your password?
2. Enter your email address and choose Email password reset link.
3. Open the email, follow the link, choose a new password, and log in.

If you don't get an email, check spam, and make sure you used the address on your account.

Log out

Open the profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Log Out.
