Hitting a plan limit
What the limit messages mean and your options when you reach a monthly or team-size limit.
Plans limit how much you can create and how many people you can add. Limits are set per plan, so check the pricing page for the current figures.
The messages you might see
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| "You've reached Plan's limit of N new links this month." | You've used this month's new links. |
| "You've reached Plan's limit of N new QR codes this month." | You've used this month's new QR codes. |
| "You can create at most N links per upload..." | A bulk upload is bigger than your plan allows at once. |
| "...would exceed Plan's monthly limit (N left this month)." | The bulk batch is bigger than what's left this month. Nothing was created. |
| "Bulk creation isn't available on Plan." | Bulk tools aren't in your plan. |
| "You've reached Plan's team size limit." | You've no more team slots. Pending invitations count. |
Your options
- Wait. Monthly limits reset at the start of each calendar month.
- Upgrade. Owners can upgrade any time from Billing; the change is immediate. See Upgrade, downgrade or cancel. If you aren't the owner, ask them.
- Free up team slots. For team size, remove someone or cancel a pending invitation.
- Talk to us. Larger organisations can have custom limits. See Enterprise and custom plans.
Other limits
- Analytics history: longer time periods show a lock icon if your plan doesn't keep that much history. See Analytics retention.
- Features: custom slugs, logos and destination edits depend on plan.
If your plan changes to a smaller team size, the new smaller limit applies to new invitations straight away.
