Edit, pause and delete links

Find your links on the Links page. Use the search box to find one by title, slug or destination, and the status filter to show only active or inactive links. Click a column heading to sort.

Edit a link

1. Choose the pencil (Edit) button on the link's row.
2. Change the Title, and, where your plan allows it, the Destination URL or Custom slug.
3. Choose Save. You'll see "Link updated."

Changing the destination is a paid-plan feature. On plans without it, the field is greyed out with a note saying so.

Important: If you change a link's slug, the short address changes too. The old address stops working, and anything already printed or shared with it will show "This link isn't available."

Editing the destination is safe for QR codes: they point at the short link, so they follow the new destination automatically.

Pause and resume a link

Use the pause/play button on the row. A message confirms "Link deactivated." or "Link activated."

A paused link shows as Inactive. While it's paused, anyone who opens it, including through its QR codes, sees a page saying "This link isn't available." Resume it any time and it works again straight away.

Delete a link

1. Choose the bin (Delete) button.
2. Read the confirmation, then choose Delete.

Deleting a link permanently removes it and its click history, and also deletes any QR codes made for it. This can't be undone.

Permissions

Editing and pausing need the Update permission; deleting needs Delete. Without them you can still see the link and its analytics. See Roles and permissions.
