Delete your account

Deleting your account is permanent. You'll find it at the bottom of your profile page.

Before you start

• Own a team with other people in it? You must transfer ownership first. Otherwise you'll see "Transfer team ownership to another member before deleting your account."
• Want to keep your data? Once deleted it can't be recovered. Download any QR codes you want to keep first. See Design and export QR codes.

Delete your account

1. Open your profile.
2. Under Delete account, enter your password.
3. Choose Delete account, then confirm in the dialog.

What happens

• If you're the only person on your team: your team, its links and QR codes are deleted, and any subscription is cancelled immediately. Short links you shared stop working.
• If you're a member of someone else's team: only your account is deleted. The team, its links and its subscription are kept.
• Your sessions are ended and you're signed out.

If we can't cancel your subscription for any reason, the account isn't deleted. You'll see a message asking you to try again, and nothing is lost.

Important: Anyone with a link or QR code from your team will see "This link isn't available" once it's deleted.

Not sure? You can pause a link instead of deleting it, or cancel your subscription and stay on the Free plan.
