Link and QR analytics
See the detail for one link or one QR code: source, referrers, devices, browsers and countries.
Open a link from the Links page, or a QR code from the QR Codes page (the chart icon), to see its own analytics.
For a link
- Total clicks (all time): every click the link has ever received.
- Direct clicks: people who opened the short link itself, for example from a message, email or web page.
- QR scans: people who reached the link by scanning one of its QR codes.
- Clicks over time, plus charts for Devices, Browsers and Countries.
- Top referrers: the websites that sent visitors your way.
Use the Time period buttons to change the range (7 days up to 1 year, depending on your plan). The page states "Showing data from the last..." for the period you chose.
For a QR code
A QR code's page shows Total scans (all time), Scans in this period, Scans over time, and the Devices, Browsers, Countries and Top referrers for scans of that one code. If a link has several QR codes, you can compare them.
What "Direct" means
Direct appears under Top referrers when the visitor's browser didn't say where they came from. That's common for links typed in by hand, opened from chat or email apps, and scanned from a QR code.
Good to know
- Devices, browsers and countries are worked out from each visitor's browser and network. Country is an estimate.
- Paused or deleted links don't record clicks, as visitors can't reach them.
- Everyone on your team can view analytics, whatever their permissions.
- Older detail is removed once it passes your plan's retention. See Analytics retention.
